We aim to minimize your time away from your practice and family.  We provide you a complimentary copy of our respected Cardiac CT Angiography Manual (purchase from Springer) and a complimentary DVD with our lecture series (www.cardiologylectures.com). Didactic lecturing and review is performed at home before you arrive   In only 4 days on site we will assure your confidence and competence as level II certified cardiac CT readers.  Days 1 and 2 are spent by the scanner as you witness over 50 live cases.  If you doubt this can be done in 4 days we welcome you to visit our testimonials.  Condensed, focused and expert training is possible in only 4 days.

We are the only course to offer over 50 live cases in 1 weekend (see live cases page).  You will be provided with professionally prepared and personalized booklet of the anonymous case list with a complete history. These live patients have true indications for cardiac CT and thus the majority of our live patients are found to have significant pathology.  As an example, we have found undiagnosed coronary anomalies, native soft and calcified plaque, ischemic cardiomyopathy, left ventricular noncompaction etc. 

The second two days will be spent reviewing our extensive case library of over 150 exquisite cardiac CT scans covering a complete and broad spectrum of cardiac pathology (see mentored library page).  Each participant will be given his/her own workstation and cases will be manipulated and reviewed individually at your own pace, while you form your own opinions and conclusions which may then be compared to our expert and complete reads.  Our level III experts, as well as workstation application specialists are present 100% of the time for your instruction.  Many of our cases have angiographic,  MRI, TEE and surgical correlation. 

No student has left our course without competence as a level II cardiac CT reader in 4 days.  Level III may be obtained by coming to two separate 4 day sessions.  

Upon completion of each  4 day session you will be provided with a completed SCCT certification application, which need only be signed and sent.  In addition, certificates with complete documentation of live, mentored and noncontrasted cases with 23 CME hours will be presented.  Shortly after the course, a complete and anonymous mentored and case library with reads will be sent to you for your record of your case work.  These may be copied and sent along with our SCCT verification application.  In addition, on request, each student may be given an external hard drive with our library which may then be loaded on your home workstation for future review.
